Auction: 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI Tommi Makinen Edition
Discussion
Hi bennno, thank you for the question. A lot of remedial work has recently been carried out on the car, which is supposed to be shown in the ‘documents’ section of the advert. I have since been in contact with Pistonheads who have promised that the advert will be updated accordingly tomorrow (23/02/24). Apologies for the delay, and hope this helps.
Many thanks

The prior MOT's indicate this vehicle had significant rust. Could you please advise what remedial work has been done on this car to remove rust, do you have copies of bills for work completed that can be shared?
Posting on behalf of the seller, but he has provided this receipt/bill for the remedial work doneHi ‘impelling’, in response to your questions :
- it’s a ‘UK’ registered car from new
- yes the chassis number does relate to being a ‘Tommi Makinen’ edition
- the main service document shows a different registration because that was the original registration when new, a previous owner put a personal number plate on it which they then kept when the car was sold, and it had to be re-registered with a different ‘Y’ played registration.
Hope that helps.
