Yes. I would ask that you get insurance cover or if not possible I'm happy to take you out as a passenger.

Send me a direct message and I can arrange a time, give you an address.

Is the car still on it's original clutch or has it been changed?

To my knowledge the clutch is original and there is no indication that it's likely to need replacing any time soon. It feels plenty sharp, no bad noises and the bite point is not at the top of the pedal.

You're very welcome to try for yourself on Saturday if at the PH25 show in Bicester. I'll make myself known to the PH staff/food van if there's one near my car and give my number out so they can call me and I'll come back and answer questions.

P.s. 1st post in 16 months. Solid lurking. Welcome to PH

I've just been waiting for the right car to come along!
You mentioned in the description that

"there are some scratches on the metal sill plate and some damage to one of the plastic clips that holds in the carpet on the driver’s side"

Are there any photos of this? I could not see any in the listing. Thanks

The scratches are visible if you zoom into image 133 in the listing. They are across from outside car to inside in the area of the union jack. Drives me mad as the plate is beautiful, but it's pretty hard to climb out without making these if theres anything on your shoe.

The carpet mat should have two plastic parts that clamp together to form the 'eyelet' like the image at this link:

https://www.reyalfombrillas.es/img/cms/Anclajes/Ro...

One half of the eyelet is missing so the carpet isn't held down.. meant to sort it, but just never found time for the dedicated googling to find the right part and order.

Hello. Lovely car and spec but not a Sports Racer as too early and not the same trim as the Sports Racer. And no mention on the Cert of Provenance. I don't think it makes a huge difference (if any) in value but incorrect to headline as a Sports Racer, which from memory were later (May 2013 first cars?), fully loaded with some alcantara/automotive suede trim, £4K more than standard S but with extras worth double that. A car built July 2012 will not be a Sports Racer.

Hello, it does specify Sport Racer registered on the V5 by Bell and Colvill.

I'll try to get a picture added. Also, I could be wrong but I thought the manufacture date for 2012 model year cars started summer 2011. So it would make sense a 2013 Sport Racer would be manufactured Summer 2012?

Fair enough but I think a DVLA confusion. Perhaps ask Lotus archive to confirm as I thought all SR had alcantara/automotive suede on dash front and center section. Perhaps B&C decided themselves it was a SR......
Quirks like this are very Lotus.
It is a fab looking car and worth just the same either way - probably more as it's the earliest SR available 😊.
Evora are truly special cars, a hidden gem that cost relative peanuts to run considering the excellence of the engineering. They should be a lot more money than they are.
