I tried to add my grenadier onto my admiral multi car policy today “sorry sir, it’s a van for insurance purposes”

So it’s registered as commercial, commercial for speed limits and commercial for insurance but HMRC don’t seem it commercial?

Crazy.

Fairly normal for HMRC - always marching to a different drum.

The "too heavy for Dual Use" and "not enough payload for commercial" also applies to the Defender 90 and 110 Commercials, but after lobbying from JLR, HMRC has conceded they are "commercial".

Ineos Automotive need to press HMRC on the 2str Utility Station Wagon for the same concession.

Indeed. Commercial for VED too - which helps.
