Spectator Info ;

Entry list ;

Be aware that the WRC 1 Puma (car 2 I believe ? ) requires special attention should it stop near by - don't go touching it !
From event website ;
Please note: There will be a Puma WRC1 on the event. This is a hybrid car and requires specialist assistance for breakdowns or accidents. DO NOT touch the vehicle unless the green light (located on the windscreen and the side windows of both sides of the car), is on. If this light is not on touching the car could result in death. At the start of the stage is a fully trained, fully equipped EV Safety Team who should be summoned via the radio system in case of breakdown or accident. They will deal with the situation, please do not risk yourselves!

Looks like they've sold all the car park tickets, which were only available online. They'll be hoping non ticket holders don't turn up......and Greystoke in non spectator.

"Please leave animals and children at home"

Yeah, we'd not be wanting kids coming along and possibly getting hooked on the sport would we.

Yeah, I saw that; I've never understood bringing pets to an event......but children? Where are the future fans, drivers, co-drivers, officials, engineers, etc going to come from? Nonsensical really.....

It'll be because if there's a crash and a spectator is killed it'll make the news for one evening, if it's someone's kids the event will never run again.

Wrap them up in cotton wool so and never leave the house.

Bit silly saying no kids. Its not up to a motor club to decide if kids should attend or not. This isn't drag for tots.

it is the world we live in in a lot of ways about rallying.

It is why a lot of folk no longer really go and watch anymore, shame but that's the way it has become through no fault of 99.9% of rally speccies

First 3 stages have now been cancelled.

So it is now all the G's
Greystoke 1
Grizedale South
Grizedale North
Greystoke 2
Greystoke 3

Greystoke is a non spectator stage(s) Nothing to do with MSUK this is at the request of the landowner.

Yeah, it used to allow spectators; however I recall the car parks in there were very small - and plenty parked outside on the roadside verges, despite being told not to.

Grizedale it is then for spectators.....

There's a large area they could use for a car park on the east side of the forest but unfortunately M-Sport don't own the forest now and the new landowner doesn't want folk wandering around - understandable!

A shame about the stages being cancelled, hopefully the rest will run.
