Rovanpera is usually good for a few funny one-liners, like telling Marcus Gronholm he's not a meteorologist. hehe

Michael Orr was sentenced to 80 hours’ community service and three years on probation.

Belfast Crown Court heard that almost 2,600 images were found on Orr’s computer — more than 600 of them in the most serious category.

Why is this DISGUSTING person not going to jail for a long time?
I think the sentence is all wrong , Local guy got caught with kid photos and got jail time .
SHOCKING......

WRC Rally Estonia has been and gone........and not one post.

1st - Kalle, 2nd - Thierry, 3rd - Esapekka; another dominating performance from Kalle, and a bit of a disaster for M-Sport/ Ott; an engine change after Shakedown resulted in a 5 min penalty......

I know and I love rallying (was out on the Scottish on Saturday) but a really can't get into the WRC as it currently is.

We were actually talking about it on Saturday, no consensus on why we don't enjoy it. Just that it doesn't do it for several of us.

It was decidedly uneventful (once underway anyway...)

I was really impressed with the driving in Rally1 - barely a mistake made all weekend through the whole group. The team budgets will have appreciated this one for once!

It becomes a bit of a vicious cycle on here I find. Posts about WRC often get minimal response or just a bunch of grumbling about how WRC isn't as good as it was 20 years ago, so people like me who often are watching it don't bother posting as much here, and so the cycle continues...

Estonia wasn't the most exciting rally this time to be fair - good committed driving on fast roads with some interesting bits, but remarkably drama/error free and nothing much in the way of weather to mix things up.

After seeing the Rally1 cars at Goodwood they are super impressive and sound great!
There just needs to be more competition in Rally1.

Zero interest in WRC nowadays , or the British championship which is a shadow of it's former self .Got a trip to Ireland next week for the Cork 20 which will be well worth the effort .

Hopefully it comes off; a fabulous event, and the organisers are showing ambition.

Punctures left right and centre on the second last stage of ERC Rome Rally, gave the top 10 a good shake-up!

Sesks rolled out in stage 4 so Paddon extended his championship lead by a good margin with a safe drive to 3rd place. Not guaranteed yet but well on track with his campaign to be the first non-European driver to win ERC.

As soon as I knew Ott's challenge had bit the dust that was it for me. Which was a shame, as the "new" TNT Sports (BT Sport as was) decided to show pretty much every stage live on its main channels, which meant HD pictures!

In terms of TNT Sports coverage, looks to be the same for WRC Finland this weekend. All stages to be shown on one of the main channels. Good for HD at least.

3 stages in and Tanaks Puma has died.
What are the chances of M sport withdrawing from Rally 1 at the end of the year? This can’t be good publicity for a team who have already openly struggled with the budget.

Oh, for crying out loud, what a shambles.

After the demise of the Bentley programme this could be the end of M Sport as an outsourced race team.

It's probably a bit far fetched, but if he just keeps things clean you never know!

Not sure how much time he gets in the cars or if he was really trying; bit of a mare for Kalle but at least the championship looks more like a match than it really is.
