Morning folks,

As the title suggests my car is refusing to charge at weekends. I use the cars timer rather than Octopus as that was too inconsistent.

Settings are that is charges every day between 22:30 & 05:30. Works perfectly weekdays but never charges Saturday and Sunday.

Any ideas please?

Nick

Odd. Have you had the car since new? If not, is there anything set in the car charging profiles, of the charger itself to explain it? The profiles and set up is quite complex when you burrow into all the various options. https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rl...

Ex demo. I've deleted all the profiles and reset new one. Zappi is brand new and nothing on there suggests it's causing the issue. Very frustrating.

Has to be a timer issue somewhere....

Is there a way to clear the Zappi?

Direct charging is fine. Problem is I now have to wait until next Saturday to see if my new settings work. Have changed time to 00:15 - 05:30.

Try resetting your Zappi, turn off at the fuse box for a few minutes. But I’d contact their support team if you haven’t already, they’re very responsive and helpful in my experience.

Do you have a timer overriding a profile?

I'll try this as only ever reset at the Zappi unit

Then I guess you should contact Zappi support if you haven’t already, hard to believe it’s a problem with the car.

Zappi guys really helpful but no solution. They are saying as the profile is set in the car the car should ask the Zaapi at the relevant time to do its thing. Clearly the car is not asking. Car is booked in for brake recall and OPC will investigate to see if there is a deeper routed issue. Very frustrating. But still an epic car smile

I set the profile from my Zappi rather than the car, never had an issue. Hope you resolve it soon, I know it’s a great car but charging when you want to is fundamental.

Still no joy so I'm going to try the Zappi route.

Hi Blue62.

Am I doing this correctly? I have set the schedule & tariff on the Zappi web page as follows:-

My phone shows this.

I don't understand the values at the bottom.

Obviously I want the car to charge between 11:30 & 05:30.

Any guidance hugely appreciated.

Cheers,

Nick
