Porsche camera - mounting to windscreen
Discussion
I had the Porsche camera (front and rear) fitted to my Taycan when it was collected just over a year ago.
When I came back to the car the other day, the rear camera was dangling from the mount, it looks as though the heat has melted the glue on the sticky pad that fixes the camera to the windscreen.
Any idea if these sticky pads can be purchased separately, either from Porsche themselves or from a third party?
Thanks.

Update:
I called my local OPC and there is a kit you can buy with spare fixing pads (c. £10) for the front and rear, so I’m going to collect that tomorrow.

I wouldn't be spending £10 on pads you have experienced failing after 12mths.
Just buy some 3M or Gorilla double sided sticky pads, follow the instructions and job done.
It comes as a kit with a pre-cut patch to which everything will stick to. This opaque sticker will - should - stop UV light breaking the bond down so easily. I would guess and say the installer of the cameras didn't use the patch.
I've fitted dozens of these and have never had one come off. Ever.
It's also important that the contact surface(s) is(are) wiped with a suitable solvent degreaser and that the (glass) surface is not cold to the touch.
