Edited to add. Obvs I mean Boxster, silly autocorrect. Caught these on the Grossglockner today. Four in total sometimes charging, sometimes driving, sometimes being towed. Not the greatest picture but both driver and passenger were concentrating.

I’m planning on being there tomorrow.
Looks like no winter tyres are required. Was it just wet? How busy was it?
Thanks

We took an 84 911 Carrera, a 2019 718 Spyder and a 94 400 Chimaera. All on fast road tyres. First time there.

The trip there from Bolzano was wet to start with and we took the no till roads. They got better as we went on. The pass was great on the way up, a couple of small roadworks sections. The top was deep in snow, easily 8 foot deep at points, but obviously not the road. Wet, poor visibility for one of the three runs. On the way down it cleared up again. It was almost deserted, Audi and Porsche were there testing and there were a few motorbikes and maybe five cyclists.

Well worth the feeling, we did three trips before running low on fuel. Now in Zel am See with a great view and a cold beer.

Great mix of cars. Did the spider have the roof down at all? I remember starting trips at the base of a mountain in 20+ degrees with the roof down and be totally frozen at the top.

The Spyder and TVR had their roofs on today. It's was around zero at the top. However, both have spent most of the trip topless.

@DeuceDeuce. It looked like you had perfect weather today. How was it?

The weather was actually pretty terrible. I arrived from the south and it was raining and foggy most of the time. Very few other cars there at least.

I went on to Eagles Nest afterwards and the weather was much improved and there were some really good roads around there.
