Porsche Taycan and future Porsche EVs and values

Ive just purchased a lightly used 2021 Taycan turbo, fully loaded with 25k miles on it from an opc in the midlands 7k off list price with little effort.
7k off "list" is no great deal. Off "sticker" is probably a good bid.The amount of stock is nothing new. It's been there for the last 6mths and OPCs have been chipping at their prices for the same amount of time.
The approved used site is very good for choosing the exact spec you want. It's just a case of waiting until one appears for a price you're happy with.
But realism needs to be available on both sides. Taycans don't exist in a bubble... The prices of Hyundais, Kias, Minis etc etc will keep the floor of Taycans higher OR their own floors will drop like stones.
And when that happens, it impacts ICE too.
Good/bad for the market/owners? I don't think it's ever been healthy to think that way about cars as they've always depreciated. You either want one, or you don't
I am trying to but a Taycan CT 4S at the moment, but Porsche dealers - some of who have had cars up for sale for months - are not blinking yet.
Yes, you can get a nearly new one for £20-25k off latest rrp (2023/4 price) but given the current trade in values of these (if you can find someone willing to take a Taycan into stock) and the facelift around the corner they still look very expensive.
Prices are going to have to drop dramatically to shift these cars. At least to shift one to me

I am also trying to buy one. This demo is 32% off current config spec for 600 miles on clock.
Will they/can they get lower than that ?

That's a big spec car... But there's a load on it that people won't pay over the odds for... They just make it more sellable. Will they/can they get lower than that ?

They can and will get cheaper. These are not cars that appreciate. Most Porsche aren't in normal times.
Put cars in the "save vehicle" function and watch prices over a couple of months. Dealers knock prices down steadily to a point.
A red GTS I looked at, ex-demo, well spec'd started at 125. It went off the approved used site at 105.
Alternatively, put in a cheeky bid These are great cars and you're a long time driving something less preferable in the hope that prices will drop to 30p.

Lightly spec'd and they can't spell "Taycan"....Why do people buy cars and then not use them? 225 miles a year!

tbh I can remember the full spec, but it was decent.I'll definitely have had piano roof, rear steer, adaptive cruise and 2+1 seats as they were the minimum I was looking for.
It was Carmine red and I think had the red stitched GTS interior.
It was a demo car and had something like 4k miles on it.

It’s only £80 per mile depreciation. At least they saved a packet on petrol.
Doing just 400 miles they didn't save that much on petrol either.More a function of lack of actually using it.
There's definitely been some miscalculation by Porsche, couple with a perfect storm of external factors.
The good news on that is that there are some good cars available for a big chunk off what they'd cost new, if you want a Taycan.

Just bid on a pre- reg 4S CT. Offered 5k under asking price and was told no chance. Impressive poker face from OPC. It was perfect spec for me so I was prepared to take a bit of a hit. Similar cars I am watching have had another10k knocked off this week and this one was higher price than average. Still no blinking..Big jump in used Taycans on Autotrader. Over 570
And the fitst below £50k one I've ever seen
