Is there a 4S in the pipeline then?

I’ll probably put an order in once I’ve had a test drive. £5k of options to get it up to the spec of the Mach E it will replace.

Papaya does look good!
It's surely a pretty safe bet that there'll be the same trim line up as the Taycan over time. Perhaps without the GT. But who knows... If there are people prepared to buy a 2 seat Taycan, they'll buy anything.

4, 4S, GTS, Turbo, Turbo S.

Yes, I'd agree.

The 'model variant' department has a 2.6 second gap in the 0-62 time and a power bandwidth of 231 PS to play with.
I'd have thought that's plenty of room to squeeze a 4S and GTS in.

I had a good poke around the one at Le Mans, it's a really nice looking and practical car, but damn is it expensive.

Welcome to current EV pricing.

And don't expect them to come down...watch ICE prices creep inexorably up.

Genies don't like being put back in bottles.

Oh totally, the world's gone mad. I was waiting to see what the Macan and new Taycan were on my company car scheme, then as soon as they landed on the scheme I immediately went out and bought a used Taycan.

Absolutely no interest in Macan EV. Bought Macan Turbo with Performance Pack, absolute pinnacle in the Macan story. Not many about but what a gem SUV/CUV. Will drive it until it drives no more.

EV pricing is madness along with the unknown residuals for the new Macan. Will drive my Macan GTS until it drives no more

Absolutely no interest in the Macan EV, and yet you chose to read the Macan EV thread and put down a car that clearly other people are invested in. Top job!

We too (me, current iPace and 981 owners, and my friend who's had several Macans) sat in the same car on the Friday. My take was that it's no more expensive than my Jag adjusted for inflation and the inevitable 'options tax' we all pay on entry, and a damned sight better for range than the iPace. Needs the leather upgrade to deal with lower quality cabin finishes than you'd expect - doubtless a commercial tactic - but otherwise a nice thing. Drove the ICE GTS on Friday to compare, just doesn't have the immediacy on the road of an EV (or the, ahem, financial benefits), so I've ordered one. Left it on the 20s as they're way best for range even if there are sexier wheels on offer that will affect the drag coefficient.

Only question now is colour (tentative specced Papaya with Gentian in mind as a fall back if it's a bit much in the metal) - thoughts welcome!

Did they quote a lead time for delivery?

I think it was Friday when I sat in the back of it behind 2 English chaps and I was a little the worst for wear, apologies if it was you!
