That is nothing compared to some of the discounts the dealers have been giving to try and sell new models.

The new one has just been released. That's some hefty discount.

There are still 700+ Taycans on Autotrader, prices have softened a little, but not as much as I expected.

Mat Watson just posted a YouTube video doing a range test of the new Taycan alongside merc/ bmw / tesla / polestar.
He got from London to Edinburgh on one charge. So 360 miles
This will enrage many here.

Went to our local OPC launch of the new Taycan Sunday, hoping the "MK2" brings prices of the MK1s down further.

Why? I think most are just holding out for the cars with decent range.

They are coming, the new Taycan and Macan shows it is getting there.

The mk2 seems a bit leap forward on range . But the finance costs are horrendous ….

Personally mine will never see a public charging point so matters not a jot to me.

I think he means that it will enrage the naysayers who are upset if an electric car can drive further than 100 miles, let alone London to Edinburgh. (Or possibly Tesla folk, who can be a bit like the Golf R people were 10 years ago).
