Are you using it as a daily? How do you find it?

Agree about doing miles in it and being worthless, but i have always done it. I had a Lambo and did 40000 miles in that, F8 15000 miles and now this one already at 10000 on a 2022 car.
Hope to do another 5000 this year around Europe.
Problem is, hardly anyone will do the milage in fear of residuals, they are there to use and enjoy. we are only here once!

Everything about the 296 GTB is great, sounds better than the F8 by a country mile,
Got used to the Haptic controls now and work really well,
the Hybrid side of the car is sublime, works so well with theV6 power unit.
Only fault I have had are the windscreen washers, going in soon to sort.
PS Quick update: another 500 miles this weekend in Scotland, enjoying the roads smile

they are made to be used.
I think I have exceeded 150k km across 3 Ferraris by now. Done by far more km in Ferraris than any other car brand.

Good to hear of someone using their car. I’m in Scotland at the moment in a 911, some of the narrow roads would raise my blood pressure in a Ferrari.

Can't wait to use mine in Scotland. The 458 is a much bigger machine and I've had anxious moments there. 296 significantly more compact - don't foresee any problems except self restraint. Good to see them being used. They are never going to be collectables so one might as well.

Great work !

If only the Ferrari market was less mileage sensitive just as the Porsche market.

You sure? The 296 is slightly wider and longer than a 458 on the website use for car sizes:

Hmmm. I guess you must be right. It feels a lot smaller on the road. I'm puzzled now. It is much more compact inside and has a smaller engine bay so not sure where all that extra length is going.

Yes, I wouldn’t buy a V12 Ferrari or one of the newer Hybrid Ferrari’s without mileage..

Coming from Porsche land and looking at 296s now. Constantly amazed at how many of these cars, 1 year old and <1k miles are being sold for big chunks off extraordinary list including options prices.

So refreshing to see an owner ENJOY driving such a car. It is going to depreciate anyways, so far better to accept the fact and actually get all the pleasure from the car possible in the time you have with it. Have a great time on your Euro tour. And most likely - consumable items notwithstanding - the car will be more reliable for having all the fluids regularly flow round the car and the electrics exercised.
