Argh, so indecisive! Thought I would check and see if the BCH figures were still applicable, as the Tesla M3P would cost the same money...and they aren't, however, the PCP deal is looking good, if not better then the BCH.
I was told on Friday that the deal ended at the end of the month, ie yesterday, so I got my order in on Friday. Not quite as good as some of the advertised deals I saw but certainly not bad and cheaper than my current Volvo EV (unbelievable really).
The only slight bugbear is that the black interior looks so much better than the standard grey, but is £4.5k! Not worth it on BCH.
The car I test drove had quartz. Dealer explained that the quartz interior is made from sustainable materials, hence a hard wearing seat, which is probably also reflected in the price.
I really like the alcantara in the car. It may not age as well as leather but was my favorite of all the ones I saw.
Quite impressed at the mix of options available at the dealer in surrey. Got a chance to see almost everything available via configurator as they have about 7 cars about with a mix of spec.

Anyone been messed around by Drivalia where they approved finance before the cutoff of 30th June but increased prices by a lot?
I put in finance on the 25th June, well before the deadline of the 30th, then advised afterwards the deal had been revised upwards.
Obviously won't be going ahead but this is dodgy practice as finance was approved 28th June on their documents at some well inflated prices! The credit check was fine, so it's not as if the interest rate was increased and apparently there are a LOT of customers in this same position.

Is that through Lotus directly? I noticed a few quotes I got from the local dealer was from that finance company. Can't comment anymore as I ended up with CVL and their funder is Santander. I have already asked for an alloy colour change and that has been approved by the dealer. Worth noting in the T&C's it notes with Santander that the final finance contract is not generated until the Reg and Chassis number has been provided by the factory.I put in finance on the 25th June, well before the deadline of the 30th, then advised afterwards the deal had been revised upwards.

did you go direct to the dealer for the alloy colour change? i am seriously contemplating paying the extra for black so would be good to work out how it is done although paying an additional 1200 over 23 months doesnt particularly fill with gladness. would have been more comfortable if the term was spread longer.QueQwamo said:

Just did it through CVL and they contacted the dealer to change however in my case does not change the finance side of things, I was tempted also with black however it was seeing the silver alloys in the flesh/autotrader that made me think twice whereas the configurator shows the alloys as far too dark than what they are actually like. I remember previously placing an order for an S5 Sportback in 2017 and they gave 14 days grace period where changes could be made to anything secondary i.e alloys, wing mirrors, lights etc direct with the factory....Lotus however may be differentaliwtsn said:

Was through a broker because Lotus wanted a £10,000 refundable deposit if ordered directly. If via broker then they didn't need this deposit.Lotus use Drivalia as the finance company at the backend anyway but they seem to be utter shambles! :/

The options list I was given from CVL only had the silver 22” wheels as a no cost option but the configurator on lotus automatically specs the grey 22” wheels as a no cost option. Have called CVL to change it who said they will ask the dealer. Is that what you changed to?
Other way round for me...I initially asked for silver but then I saw a few for sale and the silver looked a little bright for my liking so opted for grey instead. I think the silver would look nice with the grey colour exterior paint but not the darker colours as the trim is dark but each to their own. I compared them using the below pictures however note the silver alloys also has the black roof rails option.A few weeks in with my R now and the car is amazing.
Absolute bargain as well.
