I know they get a lot of attention but driving back through Camberley on A30 I stopped at a set of traffic lights. I saw a guy on a motorbike behind me and he went around me to get in front, or so I thought. He stopped alongside and said 'Amazing car mate, really nice'. I thanked him and then turned to my left to see two kids on their bikes giving me thumbs up and saying 'Nice car!' I quick stop for fuel and a final 'Nice car bro' from a guy walking past. People do love this car don't they?!

Loads of positive feedback, especially in petrol stations. I was stopped at traffic lights when a lady travelling in the opposite direction stopped to tell me how beautiful my car is, whilst holding up those behind her. Young children pointing, teenagers getting their phones out to film it’s all good

Yes I’ve been amazed at the positive reactions, better received even than a Caterham I had which is going some.

Loads of complimentary comments, from young lads to old fellas, grandmas saying ‘lovely car’ in the supermarket car park, mums pointing with their kids …. universally well received. So much so my wife hates the attention!,

A trip to Spa was eye opening, they sure love their British cars in Belgium, I was surrounded at every fuel stop.

I’m sure the relative rarity helps.

I have had various comments over the last year, all positive, but the majority of them, not all, have all said something along the lines of "Nice McLaren"
Once I have pointed out its a Lotus(sometimes) they seem to become even more enthusiastic.

I’ve had lots of positive reactions but one guy was giving me the hand sign the other morning at 6:30am , I wasn’t speeding - he either had a big bout of jealousy or didn’t appreciate the engine noise

If you think Emira reactions are good, you should try a Westfield XI - new to me. Unbelievable attention! And all super positive so far

I've had a few, quite often others in performance cars give a wave/thumbs up as we pass each other. I had an old boy come up to me in the car park wanting to talk to me about it and reminiscing about his Elise. See quite a few people pointing also. I'm a pretty unassuming chap and hadnt really thought about the attention it would get! Nothing negative so far thankfully.

Supercar owners and some Porsche owners complain of a negative reaction. I suspect colour is a factor. I had a black Cayman which and didn't thave any negative reaction (no positive ones either). A brightly coloured Emira might possibly evoke a negative response or two.

25k miles in uk and Europe in mine and not a hint of negativity. Everyone loves it. Hethel Yellow!

Contrasting to 2x sombre coloured 911s over the last twenty years which have received multiple coffee beans for no good reason!

It's actually become a bit too much for me at times. I liked it at first but it's just everywhere all the time. Wherever you go you just see heads swivel and follow you. I know it's the car they're looking at and not me, but it's still unnerving to have eyes on you constantly.

It's something nobody tells you when you buy a supercar (or at least looks like a supercar to Joe Public). Though for me my location is probably a contributing factor. I'm sure it's less of an issue in London or the South East of England.

Fantastic looking cars. I think spontaneous reactions from non car people say a lot about how special it is.

Nope, I'm in Surrey/Hants and it's the same (not helped by mine being yellow).

I was stuck in traffic on the M3 and a very shall we say 'pleasant' (hot) lass pulled up alongside and did the heart shape with her two hands.

I smiled and pointed to myself. "Moi ???"

she shook her head and pointed to the car ..... ouufffff

First bit of negative reaction yesterday. Driving down a single track road with passing points. I pulled over to let through a car and the driver, actually spat at the car !!!
Quite shocked that anyone would be that extreme.

Disgusting behaviour what is wrong with people thats sadly the ultimate show of jealousy.Sadly there will always be nasty, jealous horrible sods out there but for every rare one of them there's plenty of decent folk that appreciate seeing a rare good looking British sport's car on the rd
