Being one of the Auto100 customers, my car only turned up with one key. After a few weeks of chasing the 2nd key down, they agreed to pay for the 2nd key, if I ordered it from Lotus
Little did I know that the key you get from Lotus for ~£300 does not include the metal key inside the fob. To het the metal key, costs a ridiculous amount more and has to be sourced from China

Does anyone know which Geely parts bin, the Emira Locks/Keys are sourced from? I'm hoping something like Volvo and then just going to a local key cutter and getting one sourced from them

Any one know?

Do they have a number on, a US forum is prob better to ask as they did all the legwork on Elise keys

Thanks. Tried the Emira Forum, which is predominantly US memebers and no response from them

Same position I am in...its impossible to get info on it as its car security no-one is going to let you know are they!

Its approx £700 to get the internal key from Lotus China takes about 6 weeks.

You can buy the official keyfob here for around £107 then you have to get it coded (which requires your car at the main dealer to match it up.). That costs approx £150....booking somewhere which wants to do it....let me know if you find anyone & who please.

I have the fob, I am just missing the blade, hence trying to find out which manufacturer the keys/locks come from, so that I can then source them from a key cutter on the high street.
I had to get the 2nd fob from a Lotus Dealership, who then programmed it for me. In my case it was Hendy Eastleigh
