Forgot about parts!
Does it have 2 keyfobs!
Do you get a V5C with it!
Do any of the panels have bubbling! (Verdant Green seems to suffer more than most with this bubbling issue).
The Emira is a very reliable car your only going to need parts if you prang one then like anything rare you have to wait! Even engine oil & screenwash are items you need to order online few places will carry those consumables but online easy to order!
Just go for a test drive (if they will let you!) let your heart tell you how you feel about the car...it is after all a relatively cheap sports car with exotic supercar looks plus very strong engine performance & ingear acceleration is rapid whichever model you choose!
Also insurance can be a factor if your not old enough & or live in the wrong area the quotes are astronomical!!

Hello
I know we can’t predict the future, but given some of the horror stories with Evora parts, plus the car market as a whole, what’s the consensus for Emiras in the future?
Have seen two cracking cars near me for late £50’s which seem like a bargain!
FFS. Stop reading these bloody forums - go drive one of the things - nothing is risk free - and YES they ARE a bargain.I know we can’t predict the future, but given some of the horror stories with Evora parts, plus the car market as a whole, what’s the consensus for Emiras in the future?

All I would say is stay away from Auto100 if you can. But even with them far's I can see 90% of people are happy. If you do go that route take a bright torch and check out the paint work thoroughly (in the darkened dungeon they store the cars) - and as our volatile poster keeps telling us - MAKE SURE IT HAS TWO KEYS.Does it have 2 keyfobs!

Failing that buy from anybody else in the low £60k's and you really can't go far wrong. Remember you're getting a car with a significant wad of manufacturers warrantee left on it. Assuming you go for a late 23 or 24 car.

There certainly appears to be a decent supply of new body panels for the Emira going off how many cars have had replacements due to ongoing well known issues.I know we can’t predict the future, but given some of the horror stories with Evora parts, plus the car market as a whole, what’s the consensus for Emiras in the future?

Didn't you buy this just before the prices started crashing? You're going to take a big hit in a short period.bus_ter said:

Them's the breaks kid! Prices have not really crashed though a decent 2024 i4 is still around the £60-65K mark (excluding Auto 100 stock with 1 key & no V5C). Then V6 are climbing above mid £60Ks if low miles. Only a few are lower £50Ks due to being on the market a while & or having issues with bubbling paintwork etc etc my local Lotus dealer sold an i4 for £75K few weeks then got another one in for £79K LOL & people are paying that!!The Emira market is quite healthy for the discerning petrolhead who actually wants one & is not just a pro forum lurker & or serial moaner
