lol I was just going to post the same. Just watching the Emira is so much more exciting and those seats wow.
Emira looks on another level to me.
Indeed. Apart from the seats and the short-shifter he had - the other mod which was not mentioned was those wheels definitely looked like they had spacers. What d'you think? They for sure looked wider than a standard car.Emira looks on another level to me.

The Emira seems to get so much more positivity from reviewers in other countries that it does it the Uk, everywhere else seems to love it!
Really? Every UK review I've seen - I mean a proper review somebody who has had the car for a decent amount of time - not I might add somebody on PH/FB who's on every forum in town and borrowed their mate's one for 12 minutes - so every proper review I've read says they're amazing cars. Chris Harris for example - loved it - he's about as 'UK" as you can get.Remember - the British disease is to put down any true success story - for some reason a significant part of out culture is talking st about anything we do well.
Cue the usual suspects telling me the Emira is actually a rubbish car the customer service is bla bla bla......

But that's not what people are saying. The Emira is a fabulous car. Looks stunning, drives brilliantly. There are few people saying otherwise. The flaws such as they are are elsewhere and are well known. The review is interesting as you can visibly see the difference in the driving experience with how the wheel behaves, very lively indeed. The Emira in the review is as extreme as can be got (other than modding it more). Sports chassis, Cup tyres and those lovely Tillets (all $6k worth). The reviewer loves the setup and doesn't complain about it being too harsh. The GTS however, he says is too soft in normal mode and too harsh in sports mode which is exactly my experience os PASM (albeit in a 911 GT3).
Interesting the reviewer does mention the low rev limit and how frustrating it was - my experience with the V6 as well.
I thought it was a great review and the Sports Chassis setup seems like it's fantastic - maybe only on Cali canyon roads though.
Bert
PS he didn't count the keyfobs or whether it had a V5 or not which from reading the forums seems to be the only important consideration in town at the moment

Of course it had them, it was a US car. Its only a problem for every UK car
So far I've heard of one case (out of the hundreds I've read about) - where the key fob was missing. This of course is completely unacceptable and proof that Lotus is bla bla bla bla bla (add in the usual nonsense).jamesgareth said:

Unfortunately I am number 2. Also Auto100. V5 turned up about 6 weeks later, after I kept contacting(Annoying) them.jamesgareth said:

Yeah I’ve seen mixed reviews in the Uk, some good, some a bit meh, but in the US for example they all rave about both versions from what I’ve seen. We’re definitely more critical in the Uk. I spent four years living in the US (LA) - they are definitely more positive about stuff than generally people here. But I missed the rain and the warm beer and pubs and West wittering beach and London generally and Wimbledon common and so I grabbed one of their women married her and brought her back here. She disappeared many moons ago and from time to time I miss the sun and Venice beach and playing soccer in Santa Monica and everybody thinking I had a 'cute' accent - but not that often. England's my home. Just the way it is.Gassing Station | Emira | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
