Shame the £5480 VED is going to limit sales somewhat...its not like its going to make any noticeable difference ever to emissions either!

Just need to get it before April (if they are out by then). TBH, if people are paying on finance, it won't make that much of a difference. It's not like they're £20k cars.

£1k or so I'd agree. £5k and rising though, will kill off petrol sales. Good timing for the car industry rolleyes

TX.

Isn't it something like £2500 now and they are doubling it in April 25? (I may have got that slightly wrong then)

If you want to save £££kkks buy a lightly used one at huge discount after April thus avoiding the ridiculously high initial showroom tax.

Win win.

That is the kind of performance I was hoping for from the FE cars. What is more impressive than the 0-60 is the in gear 100-200 would be low 8’s looking at those stats which gives it the performance to match the looks.

Confused! 100-200 in 8 secs? Kmph?

Yes sorry, so used to seeing performance tests in kph! But basically the 60-120 mph is impressive looking at those figures.

Trust me the existing i4 is REALLY fast already (in gear performance is incredible).

I shudder to think how much faster it would feel when the full power versions start to find their way into the UK! Also feel that Lotus will offer an upgrade path (if its just a remap) for existing i4 owners.

Not sure about a Lotus upgrade but I’m sure someone will crack the ecu at some point and offer 400+
