Lotus Emira On Track?
Discussion
Ah - same spec as me although not tracked mine yet it feels like it will be well planted!! Gearshift looks OK in that vid too, any issues?
And on the subject of brakes - normally Lotus brakes are perfectly up to the job even for repeated track use but I note you say you are changing the pads - are you running out of brakes or just want more feel / more aggressive?
Enjoy!

Yes, very well planted! I've missed a couple of shifts when trying too hard and getting used to the car but no real issues, very pleased with it.And on the subject of brakes - normally Lotus brakes are perfectly up to the job even for repeated track use but I note you say you are changing the pads - are you running out of brakes or just want more feel / more aggressive?

I didn't have any fade issues on track but I'm quite hard on the brakes and they don't have quite as much bite as I'd like. I run winmax W5 pads in my track MX5 but also run them in my daily Cupra (that occasionally sees track use) so the bite in both of those was better than the Lotus. I also got through quite a lot of the front pads at Goodwood so hoping they'll wear a lot better with track use!
