Emira FE first in queue
Discussion
Certainly early on the road Emiras will sell for a premium until the supply and demand ratio balances out. The question is when will this happen ?
With the example of the Elise, there were two factors to take into account, supply was much lower at 800 units per a year, and the price point relative to the market was lower attracting a wider number of buyers.

You can argue both these points for Emira though as:With the example of the Elise, there were two factors to take into account, supply was much lower at 800 units per a year, and the price point relative to the market was lower attracting a wider number of buyers.
1. Its a world wide launch, so supply will be low to start whilst they try to get some cars into each region.
2. The price point of Emira is very low compared to Evora before it as you get more and it has super car looks without super car pricing, which is attracting a lot of buyers, many new to the brand.
I'd not be surprised at all to see Emira V6 FE cars swapping hands for 90-100k by the end of this year......
2 x First Edition Emira's at the car club up in Edinburgh yesterday morning, one yellow, one a metallic red. i think the red one was a dealer demo car.
It was a good looking car in the flesh. Didn't take any pics but I was impressed as how more 'finished' it looked close up compared to previous Lotus.
i've an Alpine A110 so I was curious as people often talk about both as peers. I'd say the Lotus did look more supercar in its overall styling - you could imagine it sitting comfortably in a line up with Ferrari's. i'm bound to say though, I like my Alp for its more discrete and not so 'in yer face' look.

Ok so finally driven one, nannied with 4500rpm rev limit and a set route (tracked by Lotus) and in very wet greasy conditions and heavy traffic at 10am on a weekday morning.
Felt pure Lotus - steering and handling sublime. Not that quick (but car only had a few miles on and rpm limit per above although I was informed I had been a naughty boy and taken it to 5000rpm).
Gearshift lovely, well set up for heel 'n toe.
TPM light was on.
KEF was average (although speakers probably need running in)
Quiet in tour, OK in Sport with a few pops and bangs on the overrun.
Seats and cabin were lovely, no rattles or quality issues.Car looks amazing inside and out, seems good value to me for the overall package and looks,
Still no bl@@dy sign of mine and no further updates from the factory.
