Can you check if it has 8 injectors?
Sorry - I have no idea. The engine is under a cover and I doubt I'd be able to spot them even with the cover off! I will ask the engineer when I have my oil change next week though.Cooling packages will be made available to safely tune them in due course. Must be plenty of space with two less cylinders.
However, if it's lacking the same hardware, then it's the nail in the coffin unfortunately.

It's nice to hear some positive love for the Emira on here. Despite waiting over 2.5 years for mine, I still think it was worth the wait. I've had zero issues and as others have said, it does look stunning. Lots of positive attention out and about. It feels like the last hurrah for Lotus before they go fully EV and they saved the best for last.
The best what? Because the Emira does look incredible but it's no way the best Lotus.av185 said:

I'll just post these photos. Almost forgot the Elise was such a looker. Unquestionably.

Who mentioned the Elise?
Or are you moving the goalposts and saying we can only compare the Emira to the Elise?

Personally I think the Emira is one of the best looking cars ever, not just Lotus, but any make. I was looking for a car for years that really caught my eye (never really been a fan of the Cayman, which was the logical next car for me) and when they launched the Emira that was it for me. Nearly one year in and, despite a few relatively minor issues which are now sorted, I still think it's one of the best looking cars ever, only equalled by a few Ferraris, which I certainly couldn't justify owning.
I also think it is the best ROAD car Lotus have ever made. Yes they have made better track cars but I've bought mine for road use not the track, so it ticks that box for me too.

I agree, I think there Emira is a very good looking car. I would be interested to know why Harry sold his ...
I would seriously have considered one ... but I was very happy with my GT4 and after 7+ years traded up to a GT3RS ...
Ridiculously, the higher rear wing gives a very clear view out of the rear window ... unlike many more road orientated sports cars!

GT4 is the safe option and certainly in 718 for is objectively the better car you can have a lot higher spec (at the moment) and a proper auto however the Emira is a very much better looking car I think.

This is possibly the best looking one. A regular up at The Motorist in Sherburn.
I posted that on the well modified car thread but it wasn't well received. I think it looks great. This is possibly the best looking one. A regular up at The Motorist in Sherburn.
