Looking to move on a tired K100
Discussion
Apologies if this is against any rules, but I'm looking to sell on my 1988 K100LT. It's been stood for a couple of years following a (unrelated) bicycle accident leaving me with a fractured skull and broken neck. I'm no longer up to handling this bike.
I've been offered £535 by one of these "we buy any bike" type outfits on the basis of it being a non runner in below average condition. It turns over and fires with a jump pack, but I've not managed to get it running for any period of time as the battery is pancaked.
I think the bike has project potential and would rather it go to an enthusiast, than a scrapyard.
Anyone know of anywhere I could list this? I don't have Facebook or any other social media.

I've borrowed a battery charger from a friend to see if I can get it running. It's really scruffy cosmetically and definitely not worth much more than a grand. The cost of a battery is the max I'd be prepared to throw at it now, and to be honest I'm just sick of the sight of the thing and all that it represents

Thanks for thisMight be worth dropping this lot a line and asking as I believe a lot of people race K100s with BEARS in the sidecars.

Thanks for the replies all. Bike does turn over and fire, so I think it's just a battery/old fuel issue, along with cosmetic damage.
Have DM'd the guy interested above and will reach out to the club.
The trade dude has further messaged to increase his offer to £575 and can collect tomorrow so I think he knows it's desirable.

Google lion wall of death sidecar. As if wall of death needed to be more scary!
from the condition, and year of the bike i would say an offer of £575 isnt really too bad in comparison to what i sold my 1997 BMW K1100LT for last year.
It had almost 80k miles on the clock and patina to match but had lots of work done to it during my ownership and was in excellent running order with a current MOT.
I originally priced it at what i thought was a very reasonable £1700 ono on ebay, and i had to lower the price a few times before i got an enquiry about the bike which led to nothing.
I eventually had to sell it by auction and ended up getting only £700
