Aston Martin V8 Vantage Brembo Red Callipers for swaps
Discussion
Ok, this might be a bit of a long shot but here goes...
Now, don't get me wrong! Red callipers look great ...on a black/grey/silver/... pretty much any colour car except on my Toro Red V8V (in my opinion) I just keep thinking that the 2 different shades of red clash and a different colour would look better, well that's what I think anyway! Opinions are subjective and I appreciate that.

The car is not very clean!![rolleyes](/inc/images/rolleyes.gif)
So I want to change the colour.
My first thought was to get them re-powder coated somewhere but then I thought that an Aston owner on here might want Red Callipers and might be willing to do a swapsies?
Mine all look in good condition and are of course, fully functioning. I will upload more pictures soon.
I would expect yours to be in comparable condition also.
The car is a 2006 4.3L V8 - so it's the 4 pot front callipers (not 6 pot) and has done 40k miles.
Other colour options will be considered.
I believe that Red was an extra cost option when bought new so you could actually be quid's-in with this swap. ...and we would both save on the extra expense of getting our callipers re-powder coated![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
Obviously it would require the donor to have the mechanical know-how to disconnect/detach then refit and bleed the callipers themselves (or have a willing competent person to hand)
Logistics: not sure how's best to go about this really! delivery/collection would have to be discussed later but I live in East Yorkshire and willing to post them pretty much anywhere - or we could arrange to meet up somewhere convenient and do a hot-swap the same day possibly.
...if no-one takes the bait I will be doing the normal thing and get mine powder coated![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

Does anyone want to swap their Black or Grey Callipers for my Red ones?
