Wanted - 4 digit plate up to £4k

Few just sold directly from DVLA via auction for less than that.

Hi,once fees and vat are added they were all over 4k but have now got sorted.

Yeah there’s VAT, fees and the £80 on top and most of these are reverse issue

Was just coming here to say we have the original issue 1967 Swansea number PWN 4

But out of price range at £4995 but there isn’t an X or a U in sight.

Which number did you end up buying?

I’d be interested to know where a sub-£4K non-NI four digit plate could be had, of any description.

Hi,
The plate I bought was an original 1963 UK number (not an NI number)
And doesn’t have a U or an X-although that wouldnt have put me off as I quite like an X on a plate.It was a private sale and seller was looking for 5k but had another more expensive plate bought so he let it go for 4k. I have been looking for a good while now and have never seen one go for under 4k all in.

I stand corrected .Yes that one got past me but I am in NI ,so my searches were specifically for anything other than a new NI number as they’re pretty common over here (I love the older ones without the Z ending)

I’d be interested to know where a sub-£4K non-NI four digit plate could be had, of any description.

They come up very rarely and much less these days although we sold one admittedly just under last week

Thank you very much for this. I have been looking for a plate with exactly your criteria for quite a while so it’s good to know you succeeded! . I’m still on the look out! I’d stretch beyond £4K if the right one came up but not too fussed about the letters/numbers meaning anything personal.

Suspect it would be perfect if you’d a z8 and were waking a plate.

Please will buy any old rubbish 2x2 or 3x1 plates to just have a 4 digit plate.

I have 3 EPN for £4,500.

You'll struggle to find a 4-digit for less than that without a UVWXYZ in it.
