TR6 Engine in Michigan (For Sale)
Discussion
Hello. A few years back I rebuilt and installed the numbers matching engine for my 2500M.
At that time, I pulled a perfectly running TR6 engine, bolted it to a stand, wrapped it, and placed it in the corner of the garage.
I am now moving overseas, and engine has to go.
Anyone in Michigan, or near by, looking for a TR6 Long Block?
I'll add some pictures in a couple of days. I'll pull the head off and take a few photos of the condition etc.
Please reach out if you are interested. Thanks.

Is this not a TR5 engine for the US market? Would not pull a sojer aff yer sister as they say in Glasgow.
Sorry will translate for “would not pull a military soldier off your close relative”
If you are taking the head off I would skim it, If I remember think by about a mm. if you look at a uk head near the front is a web in the casting, compare them and you will see the difference. Skimming increases the power by a worthwhile amount. I did it to my 2500m and fitted a fast cam, I was told it was good for 170bhp, even better than the fuel injected tr6.
Even better bin the carbs and fit twin SU’s
