Windscreen Wiper Issue, A110

My windscreen wipers lost the plot on the motorway today. No matter what setting the were intermittent, at best, and random intervals.
Rebooted and now seems ok, but is this the start of something?

I left it at my local main dealer and they let the battery go flat and had to boost it since then the Service light has been on.... probably not related....

You probably need a new battery. I’d be suggesting that falls on the dealership who let it run flat

I looked at an A110 in my local dealer’s showroom a little while ago, it’s wipers were behaving oddly (wouldn’t turn off) and it also had a battery recharge warning - might be a similar issue.
