New Owner incoming

So I have an A110 coming it feels like a car I should have bought a few years ago but finally getting around to it.
The car in question
It has a couple of cool bits on such as quicksilver exhaust/Litchfield map and Life100 springs however its use is going to be pretty much a dedicated track car so will be looking to swap for some coilovers with much stiffer spring rates plus aggressive brake pads and sticky tyres. Has anyone fitted a Quaife LSD? I'm not sure there are al that many people going all out with the track mods on these cars although they look like a very good platform.
There seems to be little information available regarding setups and well most things really with the Alpine. Whats the max camber available? I have seen a post regarding the rear adjustment which is on eccentric bolts similar to the Porsche but is the front the same? I guess I'll find out when we get our one but we have a Hunter here to do a bit of setup work.

You'll probably find more answers over on the French forum:

I'm sure plenty of Alpine PHers will be keen to hear how you get on.

Cheers guys
Well it arrived yesterday had a couple of drives in it and yeah it's all good. I think theres a bit of an issue with the Litchfield map being wiped it certainly doesn't have the claimed 300BHP. Luckily Paul from RS Tuning is an old mate and it's booked in for a power run and remap there. Paul is the OG RS mapper from right back in 2005 and the RS Megan's so he knows his stuff.
I need to lower the seat its on its on the middle setting which is too high the column adjustment is weird it doesnt seem to go high enough.
Focal sounds are good but the infotainment is a bit worse than I remember from the last time I drove one a couple of years back. Doesnt remember you have had bluetooth streaming on and you have to reslect that every time is that right?
Does it have the equivalent of RS monitor on it? Oil temp reading would be good.
I'm also after a seat of spare wheels if anyone has any (OEM Pure ones would be great)

That would be the optional Alpine telemetrics. It should be under "Applications" on the multimedia if your car has it.
If it's a pre-facelift car tap the circular "A" button in the centre of the screen.fridaypassion said:

Pre-facelift was/is certainly patchy with reconnecting - it has a habit of defaulting to an available audio source before waiting to re-establish a connection. Irritating but you find ways around it.Edited by Hoofty on Friday 25th October 22:07
I think we were selling our previous cars at the same time Jon - good to see you’ve added an Alpine too!
I’ve just had mine modified with pretty much all the Life110 bits and it definitely feels transformed on track, and still perfectly acceptable on the road.
I hadn’t had time to fit my harness kit before my track day yesterday but with all the extra grip I’m definitely going to need them!
David Pook clearly worth a chat to discuss what you’re trying to achieve with it.

So I'm gathering parts and making a bit of progress. The car was dropped in at RS tuning today and the results are looking superb. Paul's RR is known for being very realistic so very happy with these numbers
We have the "S" ARBs to go on, Life 110 paddle extensions
Contisport 7's going on Friday (these will be replaced with a spare wheels set with Cup2 when the weather warms up)
Mtech C Hook brake discs on order just need to sort out pads (why is it so impossible to get rear pads for these cars?)
Nitron Track dampers on the way
Once it's all together I'll be having a look at Aero then. I run a composites business so will be looking at making a front splitter and side skirts in GRP that will be far cheaper than the other options that are around currently. Wing options look very limited the stock wings are a bit weedy so will be looking for a proper "wang" for it probably something for another car but with custom uprights.

We'll have to see when the time comes it takes an age to develop parts so won't be anything to show for a while.
I have driven the car with the RS Tuning map...my word it's a very different car now! Very very quick much more aggressive breaking traction on the PS4's mid gear in the first 3 which is nice.
Hopefully will have all the bits gathered together mid next week and will be cracking on with the conversion from road to track biased car!

Well it's had a good old run tonight no sign of any clutch slip. Very quick thing with the remap pulls all the way to 7k. An unintended consequence send to be that I didn't get the annoying beep at the top of the revs now as well!
Life 110 shift paddles on that's a great bit of kit everyone should have.
Nitrons have arrived thanks to Debbie of SVP
On the advice of worldwidewebs we have contact 7 tyres to go on then just waiting so the braking stuff and get the in ARBs on
