Hi
Have been monitoring the classifieds for a few weeks now... have seen a car come up with a carbon roof. Aside from costing more, is there any downside? I would be keeping the car outside. Are they harder to keep in nice condition? Harder to clean? More delicate?
Don't think the weight saving will do much for me, but they do look quite nice!

I bought my 2019 S from a main dealer last year, it has a Carbon roof.
When picking it up I noticed a mark in the roof, they said bring it back and they would sort it.
Their first attempt was terrible, whoever they used to repair it did not remove all the lacquer and it ended up being bumpy and looked like st.
The 2nd go is much better, not 'as new' but I am ok with it. I still need to get it PPF'd though which I think will help protect it.
Carbon looks good but in hindsight I am not sure it's worth having, I think the upper part of the car including the roof looks good in black though, which mine has from being black wrapped.
