Was this common knowledge or worth a new thread?

So, the end of ICE A110s is nigh, and this is the ultimate run-out model with a new (well, different) gearbox that can take the extra shove.

Anyone up for one at £200k+ ?

There's a thread on this on one of the more general PH forums; opinion is split between 'stunning' and 'how much?'. I love my A110 dearly -a forever car- but think this neatly sums up the challenge of balancing price with value.

All of which is hypothetical, as I understand that the three cars allocated to the UK market are already sold. Will we ever see them/will they ever get driven?

Ah, so I won’t bother asking my dealer for a test drive then!

Of course with just three here I can see this could be an investment, which means they’ll never get driven (on public roads at least).

Which is a shame.

biggrin The ultimate edition. Foregone the Carbon wheels in favour of some that look very much like the Life110 monoblocks!

I thought there were 3 RHD cars (rather than UK cars) and 2 have gone to Oz and 1 to Japan...

That could well be true; I was acting on hearsay...

The impression I got from a chat I had with Mark at Solihull was that no UK dealer had a confirmed sale therefore none were comfortable to commit to taking one.

Sourcing that new stronger gearbox could be the way forward, I wonder if that's what James E's new idea is from Poland 🤔
