Excuse my ignorance Debbie, but what an earth is a GPF?
Gas Particulate Filter. It's an emissions control device that goes on the exhaust to trap soot. Relatively new to petrol cars, but diesels have had something similar for a while (DPF). They are a bit different on petrol cars though and supposedly less prone to issues.I believe the earliest A110s didn't have them which is one of the reasons the original car had a lower quoted weight. It probably goes without saying, but you shouldn't delete them on a road car since that would count as tampering with emissions equipment and makes the car unroadworthy.
