Mega impressed with my A110S Aero on track!

Interesting comments and video, and a lovely car.
I’m very surprised you feel that the car is actually faster than an Exige 410.
I had the chance to drive a 110s with exactly the spec you mention at Zandvoort GP on Wednesday this week, and it was a lot, lot slower than the Cayman GTS I was also running that day. (granted that car had full ohlins)

Alpine handles better, helps having a lighter engine placed much lower in chassis.I’m very surprised you feel that the car is actually faster than an Exige 410.

Had no problem passing the 718 Cayman S on the day in fact he was trying so hard and holding me up so bad I noticed him nearly lose it a couple of times. Considering the Alpine has much less power is testament to how good it handles.

Gorgeous looking car. Is the orange with black roof a special order?
It has the carbon roof option and sides painted black about £4500 option I think, this car literally has every option so the suede interior on dash etc which really lifts quality feel, carbon aero kit etc.Gibbo205 said:

I think this varies on the venue,
I own a few cars but for this, I have a very heavilly modified Cayman S PDK, full race paddle set up, 997.GT3 Cup car front suspension and geometry,
Huge 997 gt3 Cup car brakes, with RS29 pads KW dampers proper plate lsd , proper tyres etc
And My 2020 A110 legende , with basically the 300 bhp map, Nitron dampers and our own geo. Rs 29 pads and decent Geo.
On a tight twisty place the Cayman doesnt stand a chance against the Alpine, However on faster venues ( most uk circuits ) its the other way round where the weight has less of an impact, this can also depend on a single lap or 20 lap stint, Cadwell park the Alpine is Quicker ,Silverstone GP its the Cayman.
My criticism of all Porsches ( I run a Porsche specialist ) is they are geared way to highly for uk use.
I didnt buy the Alpine for Trackwork , but ill keep it over my Cayman anyday
