I’m looking at getting an A110S and am keen to fit a 6-point harness. I’ve seen the MP Rezeau mounting kit, but their website seems to say that you can only fit a 6-point harness if you originally specced the harness mounting kit.

Has anyone managed to fit a 6-point harness with the normal one-piece bucket seat?

Does anyone know exactly what you get with the harness mounting kit?

There was a bit of discussion on this a while ago but I couldn’t see that anyone had got to a landing on this.

Thanks,
Tim

A recent trip to the factory shed a little light on this: our guide believed that with the introduction of the type R the rear bulkhead was standardised to include mounting holes - prior that only if 6 point speced

Sorry unclear: holes on top of bulkhead - didn't see or ask re others

Looking at their website there's a suggestion of an additional bracket 'seat bottom piece' for non-6-point cars

You cant fit a 6 point with the standard seats, you need a hole for the crotch strap.

4 point harness is perfectly possible.

M10 eye bolts or similar for the shoulder straps into the bulkhead, you should see a little cut out in the carpet on newer cars.

Depending if you want to retain the 3 point belt, lap belts can simplay replace existing belt mounting or a bracket can be added fairly straightforwardly.

Thanks for that. I was a bit surprised they produced a different seat but that does all make sense.

Any recommendations for a good upholsterer smile
