Brake caliper lettering wiped off

Washed the car at the beginning of the week- used the same Meguiars wheel products I always use and saw that I’d wiped some of the white letters spelling “Alpine” off the calipers on the passenger side- driver side is fine.
Anyone else had this and is there anything I can do?

Eek! I haven’t had that, but thanks for the warning.
Is it the stuff that goes purple when it comes into contact with metal particles? Because that stuff reacted with the plastic centre cap roundels on my Alpina D3 wheels, and seized inside the painted alloy centre caps. I’ve gone back to snowfoam/ shampoo, a soft brush and elbow grease. James.
