Hi All. Sorry to have to raise a new topic for this. Is anyone else struggling to get parts? For example, I need TPMS sensors for a second set of wheels. I’ve got the TPMS sensors, but the collars/washers needed to fit and secure them to the wheels are on back order, for at least several weeks I’m told - part number 400014940R. Is anyone else struggling to get fairly standard things for their cars?
James.

Terrible. Makes Lotus look efficient.

Waited 9 months plus for an air vent surround under warranty before giving up and buying one from a scrapyard. Was engaged with Alpine UK throughout which didn't produce a result. They did reimburse me, but very poor and not really acceptable whichever way you view it.

I'd have thought that the TPMS parts would be pretty standard and would expect tyre fitters to be able to source/provide.

Hi Colin. Oh, that’s not good.
I’ve got the sensors, but there is a specific fitting kit for them that are on back order, hopefully the photos attach to my reply.

For clarity, attached is one of the sensors I have bought and a picture of a sensor complete with the collar and washers. I’m not sure why the collar/washers are separate from the sensor when bought from official parts department.

Bought mine from aliexpress for around EUR8 each for my Evo Corse wheels. Came complete (incl. collars, caps, etc). Compared them to OEM ones and could not identify any differences. All the markings, appearance, dimensions were 1:1. Functioned flawlessly for the last 3 years. I suspect it may be the product from the same chinese supplier which supplies Renault/Nissan with OEM parts. Even with all the import hassle and VAT and import duty on top it is quicker and significantly cheaper than waiting for the parts from Alpine.

Thank you, I shall explore.
I just thought when you order something you expect to get what you need for it to fit and work.
I’m going to call in at local tyre fitters to see what they have on the shelf, else I’ll order online and maybe get a couple of sets in case they’re needed in future.
