Raer view mirrors: Changing to dim/dip rear mirror?

My Pure has a manual dipping rear view mirror.
Is it possible to replace it with an auto dipping mirror, as in the Mirror Pack for example?

I would guess the necessary loom and plugs are behind the plastic cover behind the mirror on the windscreen.
Anyone looked?

Hiya - linked this to the All things Retrofit thread so responses here or there are findable (forgive the nerdiness, it's rather like what I have to do at work so can't help myself).

This is all I've managed to add so far.

Believe the dimming mirror is about £340 to order, and I presume it runs on battery rather than power feed from the car? It's only powering LCD I think.

Swapping it might raise the risk of cracking a screen if circumstantial info is true, so it might be one to save for if/when a replacement screen is needed.
