Hi
Just bought a 2019 Alpine with the original infotainment system. I know its pretty poor but my android phone refuses to link with myspin claiming there are no supported apps for this USB device. Have the most recent mySpin app and the phone is up-to-date-anyone else had this and any solution?

Tbh , I wouldn’t worry, it’s not worth the effort,

I’ve just got a small cradle in the centre vent and use my phone for all the media , it works really well.

I’ve had the car since 2018 and my spin has only worked about 1% of that time and even then the my spin nav didn’t work as it “wasn’t authorised in this area” (UK).
It was a joke and should never have been deemed acceptable by Alpine but there you go. Fortunately the quality of the sound makes up for the poor interface.

We’ve all just given up on my spin as it never worked from new and the dealers were unable to assist.
Fortunately the Bluetooth works well so I’ve just got a MagSafe mount behind the screen and run Waze on the phone with music and directions audio via bluetooth.
