What have they done??
My old app had all my car details, my PE reservation number and was the app I used to buy the car at launch.

Now I’m greeted with a “you’ve got an old car so none of the connected gubbins works”, no reference to my PE reservation etc and a load of incorrect info about maintenance work that has been done- ah, all with a broken interface as well

The info about my extended warranty is also incorrect…

I don’t know why they bother.

I have yet to see the point in it. Whether it works or not seems largely irrelevant

I get an error message every time I try to use it. I have messaged Alpine and they now want a scan of my V5 for their technical team, which I don't really want to send by email.

And to be honest, I've lived without it for 18 months and don't believe I've missed out on anything...

Mine works, and the maintenance schedule and access to handbook approaches usefulness - but without greater connectivity (21MY Pure) I guess it's fundamentally limited? Frustrating if it can't even get that right though.

My only other point of reference is the My BMW app, which is extremely useful - albeit for an EV, so quite different use-cases (charging, preconditioning, scheduling etc). I'd be happy if the Alpine one could just tell me if the car was locked or not. laugh

Just checked my 'My Alpine' and I have noticed they have listed my Roadside assistance / Manufacturer warranty / paintwork warranty as all expired.
My car was registered in March 2021 so all 3 should still be covered until under the 36 month warranty.

It seems their I.T. is totally FUBAR and I hope I don't have to argue the point if I need to be picked up from the roadside anytime soon (as I have 3 times previously!).

I wonder if Fujitsu look after their software??
