Some years ago I remember a very interesting discussion in a Magazine (Autocar?) about pairing of cars. Now that we can all afford at least one or two, or more, toys.

It would be interesting to know what other toy cars A110 owners own? Mine is a Morgan +4 (ARP4 version) - chalk and cheese!

Paul.

Mine isn't really a toy car as use it for everything, but has surprisingly similar 0-60 times as the A110.
I have an F32 Alpina D3 biturbo
Again a bit of chalk and cheese, but horses for courses

My other car is 2019 Ford Fiesta ST. Alpine A110 is my daily driver during summer season and the Fiesta is my winter car which is also called to duty during summer if I need to carry bigger stuff like my mountain bike or if rear seat is needed for people carrying.

"My" other car is a Seat Ibiza ST - the other do-everything car for things the A110 won't do. I'd have difficulty in "swinging" another fun car past my OH - might get away with a Caterham or a bike ( Aprilia 660 ?). Don't honestly fancy anything else however exotic. Maybe I'm getting old (I am) and need for my OH to, at least come in/on my chosen silliness - so it will remain a pipe dream.

I once had a Civic 3dr hatch and a Civic 2dr coupe. They were both the same year and the same colour. I described them as 'his n hers' Civics, but we're never sure which was which!

A110 is the toy, and accompanies a Discovery 4, an i3s and a C class convertible. Pretty much all bases covered with relatively little overlap between them.

Clearly you can regard the A110 as a toy. I take an opposite view - my A110 is a do-everything car unless it involves going to IKEA or requires 4 seats.

A110S is daily driver, other car is a TVR Tuscan although that us now up for sale as A110S is doing everything I need a car to do. Helps that OH has a Volvo V70 T5 as a do it all

I’ve got a BMW i3 along with the A110. I would say the A110 is one of the best cars I’ve ever driven, but the i3 is the best car I’ve ever owned. I absolutely adore it. And I get to say the carbon tub car is the heaviest car I own biggrin

Fully agree. It's an acquired taste the i3, but I love its brilliantly conceived and genuinely different, which is what I love about it. Shame the tyres are so expensive. There's only one option for the i3s rears and they are £240 a pop. Otherwise it's fun to drive and cheap as chips to run. Nothing in BMWs current lineup is anywhere near as interesting. Can't see me selling mine. Same with my A110. And probably the D4. Each classics in their own right.
