set of standard springs free

I replaced my standards P.E. springs to the life units when I bought the car. They had less than 3K miles on them and have been dry stored in my garage.
I remember reading that someone had broken a spring, they are free to anyone in that position.

Yes please Neil, I don't have a broken spring but a previous owner had replaced the standard springs and I find the ride too hard for my liking.

Well, I don't know, exactly as the car is 3rd hand and I don't know what the previous owner fitted. I love the car, but am quite disappointed with the ride, especially at low speed on typical urban or country roads - I also have a Morgan, so am used to a bad ride!

It is also running 18" Seracs, which could also be a cause of the jittery ride, so if anyone out there is selling a set of 17" wheels that they have replaced, I would be very interested in acquiring them.
