Caffeine & Machine Hampshire venue meet at The Hut
Discussion
As mentioned in the other meet up thread I’m hoping we can organise an Alpine meet-up at C&M’s new venue which I understand opens in the spring.

We’re staying at The Hill next month, so I’ll see if they have more details.
Really pleased they’ve expanded down south as we really enjoyed our trip there last year just after we picked up our A110.

Cool, I was not aware of that and it is local for me. I assure you however that the building looks nothing like that currently.
Be warned though, all roads leading to West Meon are average speed cameras. 50mph from the South and 60 in all other directions. They are however still quite nice roads even sitting on the speed limiter!
Watch the bikes who's venue is diagonally opposite (hence the average speed cameras + noise monitors)

Is this also where there was always a mobile speed camera van that the local Alpine dealer didn't mention was a fixture on its standard test route ?
It's not on the test drive route that they sent me on, it's on the other side of the A31, but it would make more sense as a test drive route from Winchester and more likely to have had a regular camera van presence before the cameras went in. Colin P said:

Thanks. The venue opposite being the BP garage?Be warned though, all roads leading to West Meon are average speed cameras. 50mph from the South and 60 in all other directions. They are however still quite nice roads even sitting on the speed limiter!

I assume the C&M pic is a little AI enhanced then? Well, hopefully it’ll be reality in a few months. I also assume the property covers some of the field behind, otherwise parking would be too limited.
Huh, that's cool. So this pub is about 45 mins from me, it used to be called The Meon Hut and already did car meets once a month on a Tuesday night. They were never advertised on social media and I only found out about them through word of mouth.
There's a field behind with space for maybe 100 cars. Huge variety, there were some classics, a few supercars (Ferrari, McLaren), jap cars including some JDM imports and drift cars, TVR, quite a few BMW/Mercedes etc. I took my RCF at the time. I only went once, would love to go back with my A110.
I guess it will have a bit more "presence" now that it's being taken over by C&M, for better or worse.

The meets were on social media as the events were run by a fellow PH’er. From a source its rumoured to be a March opening, trades are in at the moment refurbing it.There's a field behind with space for maybe 100 cars. Per the other thread there’s a Renaultsport/Alpine meet on Monday 8th April in the evening. I’ve got a ticket, hope to see some of you there.
