Hi,

I've been having a look around for alternative air filters and will be getting a Green Air filter. They are a French brand with a UK distributor.

Pretty sure I've seen a green filter on the Pikes Peak car on a French Youtube channel, the filter available from Meca Parts looks to be one also.

Part number is P960110. The UK distributor dont usually hold stock on this filter but have advised the wait if an order is placed now will be about three weeks. Price is £60ish delivered.

No affiliation etc, just hoping to add to the knowledge base of parts available.

We used to use green air filters on the Mitsubishi WRC programme with the final cars 2004/5 which were really good quality and performance, Peugeot and Citroen were also using them and still do.

I have an ITG in mine and was very surprised at the difference it made to response, very worthwhile change , think that took about 3 weeks to arrive as well.

Hi Debbie,

With the ITG did you notice any difference in the sound coming into the cabin? I recall an owner mentioning that with the Life110 air filter, the noise of the turbo was a lot louder than with the Renault OEM air filter.

When mine was in for a service last year the alpine/Renault filters were still on back order so I ordered a Life110 filter which, if I recall, is an ITG item.
Can’t say I noticed more performance but there was certainly more (good) intake noise in the cabin- not intrusive- just a bit louder- like Darth Vader after a big night out.
