Spring 2024 Alpine get together - some thoughts please
Discussion
Hi all,
Now that the new year celebrations are out of the way I am keen to see if there is the appetite for a spring Alpine gathering.
I've organised a couple of meets in 2023 which were well attended and many owners commented how they would like to do it again as it was great fun.

So lets see who fancies it.
I am thinking maybe Feb/Mar time and location wise pretty flexible but maybe something not to far from one of the major motorways (M1, M40, M6) so its easy for people to attend.
Rather than a gathering in a car park it would be good to hold it somewhere that has additional activities that are car related. Perhaps Silverstone Museum or something similar, I'm open to ideas.
Regards
Tim

I'd be up for it too - missed quite a few of them lately.
As for locations, a loose list:
British Motor Museum, Gaydon (as above): lots of space, other stuff to look at, cafe onsite (just unfortunately right next to work for me)
Caff & Mac: think we all know what to expect there
Silverstone Museum: Not been, wonder if they could do discounted entry for a group?
Podium Place, Newbury: if memory serves a few of us have already met up there?
Ignition Cars & Coffee, Rutland: new, I've not been there but from what I've seen it boasts a lovely view
Gasoline Juice, Weedon (northants): cool setting, interesting ephemera, coffee/cake
Classic Motor Hub, Bibury: Lots of space, fancy classic showroom, good food (plus a great photo backdrop with the old hangar roof)
Bicester Heritage: Perhaps as part of the April scramble, or one of the interim 'We are Scramblers' events? Alpine UK have apparently 'partnered with Bicester Motion for 2024' so there'll be an official presence at all of the scrambles, but maybe there'd be less risk of us all disappearing off into the crowds if it wasn't part of a main event.
Just some ideas

I’m down on the south coast, so pleased to have just received an email from Caffeine & Machine that they’re opening a third venue, this one is near West Meon in Hampshire. Once it’s open I’d love to meet anyone else that may be in this part of the country. If there’s interest (I’m sure there will be) we can start a new thread.

I'd be interested in a meet near the south coast. There's Goodwood as well when they re-open the circuit cafe.Gassing Station | Alpine | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
