Alpine end of Summer Meet - 23rd Sept - Gaydon, Warwickshire
Discussion
Hi all,
I started a poll over on the A110 Owners facebook group and there seems to be an appetite for a meet up.
So I have set a date of Saturday 23rd September with the venue being the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, Warwickshire.
This is not a show so no traders stalls, food trucks or anything like that its just a group of Alpine owners and enthusiasts for the brand getting together to talk all things Alpine and have a good old nosey round the museum and collection centre.
Event will kick off at 12 midday but of course you can arrive earlier if you want more time at the museum.
Tickets to the museum are £14.50 for adults and if you tick the box when buying your ticket it becomes an annual pass which can be used for as many visits as you like in a 12 month period.
Link for tickets is here :-

The museum is just off the M40 so super easy to get to.
The last meet I arranged we had at Caffeine and Machine saw 28 Alpines assemble, would love to increase this and make a really gathering.
Please reply here if you are planning on attending.
Regards
Tim

This will be a maybe for me. My GT is due for delivery in September and once I get it I will need excuses to drive it.
Funnily enough I was up at the British Motor Museum a few weeks ago with my RCF for a Lexus meet. It's a very nice venue for meets with tons of parking space. Haven't been round the museum yet though.

Sounds like a good idea. Been to a couple of meets at Bicester Heritage - but that seems awfully expensive - particularly if you come in an interesting car which, in truth, is what most of the other attendees are coming to see!
Thanks, yes the Museum at Gaydon is a great day out. The Jaguar Daimler Heritage trust centre is also worth a visit (next door and included in the admission price) As an idea of what you can see heres a link to some galleries from my previous visits :-

Great idea Tim, I really enjoyed meeting at C+M and thanks for organising.
I will be there if I can arrange around my daughter’s birthday celebrations - so a “maybe” !
The museum at Gaydon is a great venue. I go to most of the Bicester Scrambles too, if you’d like to meet there another time.
Thanks again
Simon.

Hi Tim.
Thanks for planning this one, it was great to meet up at Caffeine and Machine last time. I plan to be there, I've not had the chance to look round the museum although I've been to a couple of evening car meets there.
