Were there different Alpine Blue shades over time?
Occasionally I come across a picture where the blue looks more like Renault Racing Blue - lighter blue, less metallic.
These pictures show it best:

The Bleu de France looks even lighter still so don't think it is that.

If memory serves there were/are a couple of Atelier options which 'sort of' do what the OP describes (Héritage and Acier Blues I think?), but giveaway for the first car is that it doesn't have the plaque the Atelier cars come with. I'd therefore say it's normal Alpine Blue, but in studio lighting conditions.
Second car definitely B de F

Very nice, would love to see more pics of the Steel Blue.
Alpine Centre Soestdijk have one in their showroom (and pictures on their website) right now. This colour definitely looks a lot more vivid to me than the standard Bleu Alpine, I hope to catch a glimpse of it when I visit them for my one year checkup. https://www.stam.nl/alpine-centre-soestdijk/occasi...
