My near side mirror stopped folding around January, Alpine want upwards of £700 for a replacement!!!!! Not happening!
Accessing the actuary is not hard; prise off the glass, push off the external cover from the inside et voila😃. I've emailed the manufacturer today to purchase the part, 🤞 for a good outcome before China invaded Taiwan.

Good work - I assume the part number was printed on it?

Fingers crossed they come back to you with positive news!

I have a feeling they will say no

“ Q
Who is your primary customer?
We only offer AM and OEM service, we don't work in retail.”

but perhaps a small UK auto-maker could send a query on your behalf and ask for an engineering sample.
or you could spend some time creating the illusion of a boutique kit car maker with web page etc and send the query..

The same happened on our 2019 Alpine...but we took extended warranty (total of 5 years) so the expensive issue was resolved under warranty. Let's hope the other side also stops working in warranty periode wink

seeing as Alpine use other parts bin bits e.g. Suzuki satnav, could a bit of Internet sleuthing suggest another application of the actuator at less 'niche' prices.
I'm thinking Volvo wiper blades v £200 for ones w the Alpine logo on the bit of plastic.
