Route Alpine - Meet the Alpine Endurance Team
Discussion
I took part in the Route Alpine - Meet the Alpine Endurance Team event on Friday and Saturday this week.
Highlights included:
- 300km of spirited driving across some fabulous French D Roads in the Loire Valley region based out of Bourges
- Visiting the Signatech workshop where the current #35 and #36 LMP2 cars are being prepared for Le Mans. We were given a guided tour of the workshop where the Alpine Cup, GT4, Rally and most recent Pikes Peak cars are developed and built. The Endurance teams Chief Engineer also gave us a fascinating insight into the challenges they will face at Le Mans and also some exciting information on next years Hypercar.
- We also manged to fit in some cultural activities, visiting some stunning Chateaus as well as a guided tour of Bourges and it’s incredible Cathedral. The lunch venues that were selected served up some outstanding food.
We had a incredible two days with the Signatech team and it was great to meet other A110 owners based in France, Switzerland and Luxembourg. Being part of a 14 strong A110 rally was fantastic.
I have added a few photos, I apologise in advance they are just off my phone.
If anyone would like any further information don’t hesitate to get in touch.
