Not sure where the red faced emoji came from but can’t get rid of it in edit …anyway
Despite the best efforts of Trans Pennine Rail to prevent me getting there and the mayhem that is Manchester traffic preventing me getting home, the new motor is safely tucked up in the garage.
I had a little opportunity or two to give it a squeeze over the Woodhead Pass and remembered how good the standard car felt when I test drove the dealer demo last month.
I managed a brief pause mid way over the tops for a photo shot.
My wife came into the house a little alarmed after going into the garage to look at the car “there is something that sounds like a hoover or turned on in the car”……I must say the cooling fans are quite loud on it.

Looks great, and a fantastic photo.
I took delivery of my (not Alpine) new car last week, so "enjoy" the running in process. I've managed 900 mines in the first 6 days, it is both frustrating and a good opportunity to learn the car.
I've seen three A110's in the last couple of days, a white one near Stratford on Avon, and two Blue (Bristol and Abergavenny). It's that time of year when the weather has turned, there's no salt on the roads and people are getting back out in interesting cars.
Wishing you many happy miles.
