I know we are all too grown up to indulge in a traffic lights Grand Prix, but has anyone checked the stated 0-60 times? I'm assuming the quickest will be with Launch Control or Track Mode with a decent driver, but wondered what times Track, Sport and Normal modes actually provide?

In nearly 5 years of ownership I can confirm I’ve never used launch control once!

A friend who tried it one-up sent a photo of the telematics which indicated 4.2 to 62.

Carwow got 4.4 seconds to 60... that was in a Premiere I believe so 248bhp (?).

No this was a PE-
Shaky photo attached- second line down figure

I think one of the differences might be that (I think) official figures are recorded 2 up which is a chunk of extra mass for the A110.

PE is 252 with a bit of extra torque

I may well be wrong, but I thought the PE/Pure/“base” A110 all had/have 252PS engines. PS being 0.986 of a BHP, that’s 248.553BHP, seen written either truncated or rounded to 248 or 249BHP.

No idea about torque differences.

In fact my figures were incorrect.
The PE, at least in the UK, is the only version without GPF as far as I am aware.
When Lichfield first introduced their tune based on a PE they found the PE developed 256hp and 258lb ft as standard

330lb/ft made the car close to undriveable?

At a guess I’d say WOT just led to continuous loss of traction and smoked the tyres. The A110 has impressive traction on skinny tyres

That’s 330lb/ft, which is a rather impressive 447NM !

it also makes the car literally un driveable as the dct clutches slip from insufficient clamp pressure at each WOT change from 1st to 2nd with that torque and sooner or later that leads to the sealed-for-life dct needing open heart surgery.
