Oil level warning light
Discussion
Took my 2022 Alpine GT out the other day for a quick trip. Had to first pop to the shops and parked car on hill. When got back to car the oil level warning light started flashing . Drove car tentatively for few hundred yards and stopped on flat . Turned off engine to see if was fault, turned back on light still blinking . So took back home , let engine cool and checked oil level on dipstick. Oil level fine. Went back to car later and started car no oil level warning. Rang dealer and was told that sometimes if you park on hill whilst engine is still cold the error oil level light will come on when you restart the car . Not sure if raised on this forum before but just thought owners might want to know .

Hello, This happened to me on Sunday while at my sister's who has a steepish drive. I did the same, stopping on the flat, turning off and on, I even got out and locked/unlocked the car. I also lost the digital rev counter. However, while stopped on the flat I discovered I could cancel it using the two buttons on the end of the RH stalk, and the rev counter came back.
For interest/help, my car was parked nose high on the drive.
All the best
