Hi,
considering one of these and had a look at the models they have in Manchester and noticed that the seats have limited adjustment and as I'm a mere 5'3", forward visibility was not the best. Looking through the options I'm assuming the seats in the comfort pack are height adjustable?

Unfortunately when we visited today the Alpine rep was on a demo run and therefore I didn't manage to get to much info.

Additionally has anyone have any knowledge and/or experience of the Lichfield mod to increase engine power to 305bhp? I know this power output is available as std on the GT and S, but it's actually more cost effective to option up the base model and have the Lichfield mod.

Cheers
Ian

I can thoroughly recommend the Life110 300 PS engine map.

I'm a statuesque 5'6" and found it absolutely fine, mine had the fully adjustable Legende seats.

We are both below 5ft 6 and have no trouble with the bucket seats in the middle position. The buckets can be moved up to the upper position (needs tools) - so I think you'd be fine doing that unless someone very tall also drives the car.

While I’m over 6’, Mrs Rompy is under 5’. We have no problem driving the A110. It does mean we needed the adjustable seats though, otherwise I’d be moving the bolts to alter the height of the bucket seats all the time. It really is an easy car to drive.

Thanks all, got a test drive booked for 6th November, so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the reply. I'm assuming this mod would void the warranty?

Also, does the car use much oil? Checking and topping up seems a bit of a pain.

Enjoy, I'm up for test drive in an A110GT with Ryan from Manchester on Friday 4th.

Hopefully it'll be dry and I'll get to see how the car performs in the Yorkshire Dales.

If the oil gets to minimum a warning message is displayed on the dash (according to the manual - I've never seen it). As you say topping up could be easier - but I've never needed to in the four years I've owned the car - but my annual mileage is only 4 or 5k a year.

Thanks, hope you get a dry day. I must say Ryan at Manchester has been great to deal with and is meeting us in Holmes Chapel for a test drive as we're based in the Crewe area,
I'm almost certain we'll go down the Alpine route bur need to test drive first.
